Taking My Shot is a film about Stan, a 15 year old snooker player from Halifax on track to become a snooker champion and turn professional.

The film is part of the long running documentary series ‘My Life’ on CBBC following the highs and lows of children across the world, each with a unique story to tell. Originally broadcast on the BBC, 30th March 2023 and is now available to watch on iPlayer. Having previously specialised in short form content as an editor, it was a real opportunity to work on a 30min episode alongside director Benjamin Field, for the Format Factory.
